For those of you that follow along with me on social, you probably already know that my husband and I are going on year 3 in Hoboken, NJ. However, what you probably don’t know is that we moved in with each other after just 6 months of knowing one other (wild I know)! Our first 3 years of living together was in an area just North of Hoboken called Weehawken/West New York, NJ. Specifically we lived in the Port Imperial development. Although this area isn’t as historical as Hoboken, it features a ton of brand new, high-rise, luxury buildings, with premium amenities and gorgeous views of Manhattan. There is also ferry and bus transportation which is about 1 mile into Manhattan.
I get questions from a lot of local friends and family about my opinions on living in the Weehawken/West New York neighborhood. I figured I’d review the area here, and one of the newest and chic buildings RiverHouse 11. RiverHouse 11 is also part of the Port Imperial proper group which we lived in previously. We did a walk-through recently of the units and facilities, and it just left me asking myself, how do I move back?!
We absolutely loved living in Weehawken/West New York for many years. It was the perfect escape from the city after a long day at work. Two of our most favorite things were cuddling up near the fire pit on our rooftop with a glass of wine, and taking a dip in our salt water infinity pool after a hot day. The amenities were the biggest selling point for us. We also loved the gym, fitness center and golf simulator.
From the sleek lobby, to the fun and energetic conference rooms, the RiverHouse 11 property has all of this and more (if you can believe it)!
…And can we talk about this game room?
And these views… !!!
Whether you’re looking to relax outside in the sun, or indoors in the giant movie theater (which you can reserve just for you and your family + friends), the RiverHouse 11 property has something for just about everyone. I’m still not over the movie theater by the way…
RiverHouse 11, has everything I’ve mentioned above, but then there is somehow MORE! Including a full room dedicated to the coolest rock climbing wall I have ever seen. On the same floor there’s a spin room with enough bikes for you and all your girlfriends to take your own private class, and even a kids corner for the little ones.
I hope you enjoyed part one of my review. Make sure to check back next week for part 2, where I’m giving the inside scoop on the amazing floor plan layouts and views inside of the actual units.
Are you local to the New Jersey area and deciding on where to move? Email me direct if you have questions about any of the areas or properties mentioned above!Thank you to RiverHouse 11 for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
