Right before the holiday break I ventured out to Paramus, NJ which is about 30 minutes outside of Hoboken, NJ where Pat and I live. I visited the BoConcept Paramus, NJ location [aka furniture heaven], and did a walkthrough of the different colors boards and concepts. If you’re interested in my review of the store and some of the gorgeous pieces, keep reading…
The philosophy behind all BoConcept locations (which is a chain if you were unaware – find your local store here), is to give the customer the ability to customize almost everything including the colors, fabrics, textures, etc. I love this concept which gives the customer creative freedom to create the exact look they’ve envisioned. The store is setup in pods of different color schemes and moods to help guide and gravitate the customer towards their own person style.
1. HOME GROWN
Draws on natural inspiration including green, grey and sand shades. Wooden surfaces and botanical leafs are trendy and bring an outdoor feel to the space.
2. Mood Blue
Is inspired by a costal living vibe. Dark blues, turquoise and grey will mix together well for all seasons. Brass and mirrored textures add a sense of calm to this look.
[This is the coolest couch! The top folds down to rest your arms, glass, etc. Plus, the ottoman has space underneath for storage!]
3. Solid Earth
Incorporates pink, nude, light beige, warm brown and rustic red. It’s on trend for this season as well. The hints of copper and brass are integrated for a chic and girly look. This mood board is definitely my favorite. I could see myself doing a personal home-office with these hues.
4. Icon Brown
The perfect balance between warm and cold. I love the caramel, mustard and brown shades [especially during this time of the year.] The strong gold colors are not only luxe, but relaxing and mellow too. Adding velvet to this palette will elevate the look even more.
5. Design Center
The design center, located in the back of the store, is stocked with fabric, leather and color swatches, mood boards for inspiration, and a full staff ready to help you virtually design your new space. There’s also tons of accessory samples that you can use for design inspiration, and ultimately decorate your space.
Are you on the search to redo a room or rooms in your home? I highly recommend checking out BoConcept Paramus (or any BoConcept near you!) Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions you may have!
Thank you to BoConcept for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
