This is the second Christmas in a row that I’ve been trying to keep things as simple as possible, and honestly it’s made the holiday season so much more enjoyable. I grew up with a family that truly went all-out for the holidays, and I think to an extent, I always felt like I needed to follow suit.
As I get older I’ve realized that it’s okay to do things my own way and how I see it fit within my lifestyle. I live in a big city, so it’s hard to run to mall multiple times a week to shop for gifts. I’ve taught myself how to be a smart online shopper utilizing big sale days, coupon codes (e.g. I always check RetailMeNot.com before I order anytime online), free shipping (Nordstrom, Amazon Prime, etc.)!
Last holiday season I put out a couple of gift guides that I think you guys really loved! This year I wanted to change it up and put together some stocking stuffer guides since my family decided to fill each others stockings this year, instead of giving a lot of big gifts. If I’m being honest, sometimes I think the nicest (or most practical/appreciated) gifts are small and can be fit into a stocking.
